• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• May require additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, EFM, Tech Cert Verification - National, State License 1 Verification, Fire Card, Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), NIH Stroke Certification, Certification for Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Competency Exams as applicable

  • Accepts 1st time travelers!
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • No Call requirement
  • Scrubs: Royal Blue
  • Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
  • Patient care involving handling vents, groin care and chest tubes
  • RTO must be on the submittal
  • No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
  • 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved
  • Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract
  • NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS RTO MAX
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience
    • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
    • Avg Census: 36
    • Rooms/Beds 36
    • Ratios - 1:4
    • Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
    • Must be able to work in Telemetry setting
    • Experience with vents, groin care and chest tubes required
    • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring
    • Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery
    • Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
    • Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
    • Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
