  About the Role The Company is seeking a VP Distinguished Scientist to join their team. This senior-level role is pivotal in defining and executing the organization's AI and data science strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an enterprise AI strategy that aligns with business objectives, identifying and prioritizing key data science opportunities, and providing expert consultation on data science solution builds. A visionary thinker with the ability to influence senior leadership, the VP Distinguished Scientist will ensure the company remains at the forefront of technological innovation by driving the adoption of cutting-edge AI and data science technologies.Key responsibilities for the VP Distinguished Scientist include collaborating with senior leadership to integrate AI and data science initiatives into the broader technology strategy, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. The role demands a leader with a Ph.D. or Master's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 15 years' experience in data science, AI, or a related discipline, and a strong background in technical expertise, analytical skills, collaboration, and influence. While not mandatory, experience in consumer products and retail is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale data science projects, leading cross-functional teams, and supporting the development of data science solutions.
