Job Description:
**Job Summary:**
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a Family Advocacy
Treatment Manager (FATM) to work at the 436th Medical Group at
Dover AFB, Delaware, providing professional clinical social work or
marriage and family therapy services in support of the Family
Advocacy Program (FAP).
**Job Description:**
The Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM) will design, develop,
maintain, implement, and evaluate clinical services for the
installation FAP. As the installation clinical subject matter
expert (SME), the FATM will provide consultation to installation
leadership and medical professionals regarding clinical needs
assessment, determining clinical intervention requirements, and
developing implementation strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and implement clinical services for the
installation FAP
* Provide consultation to installation leadership and medical
professionals regarding clinical needs assessment and intervention
requirements
* Conduct comprehensive and complex risk assessments, clinical
interviews, and psychosocial assessments of children and adults
* Perform crisis intervention services to ensure the safety of, and
prevent further harm to, victims of family maltreatment
* Provide professional advisory services and training to other
health care professionals, legal and investigative agencies, and
other helping agencies
**Requirements:**
* Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical
social work or marriage and family therapy independently in any one
of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S
Virgin Islands
* Have two years of experience working in the field of child abuse
and domestic abuse as an independent Licensed Clinical Social
Worker or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
* Maintain independent active clinical privileges for the duration
of employment
* Possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
* Professional knowledge of a variety of social services, social
work or marriage and family therapy practices, principles, and
theories
* Knowledge of complex helping systems, professions, and
organizations
* Skill in conducting interviews to establish the nature and extent
of concerns and/or issues
* Ability to apply professional diagnostic skills to individuals
and families, and to plan and organize, establish treatment plans,
set priorities, and meet suspense's
