Job Description:

A great company in Irvine looking for a Staff Accountant to add to their growing team.

Job Description:

-Abide by generally accepted accounting principles and internal procedures and controls to protect and preserve the Company's assets.

-Ensure the timely preparation of meaningful financial and government reports, which accurately and fairly reflect the financial position of the Company.

-Record, monitor, and report financial activity.

-Maintain and ensure integrity of fixed asset sub-ledger and reconcile to general ledger.

-Prepare and distribute consolidated and financial statements.

-Provide data to auditors and tax accountants.

-Assist in the design and implementation of general accounting processes.

-Monitor cash receipts.

-Back up for daily bank transactions.

-Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and experience:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and one-three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

-Strong Excel skills

-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and generate alternative solutions.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
