Job Description:

Local company is seeking an accounting support person to assist with general ledgering and accounts payable. Must be able to move in and out of computer systems and be familiar with accounting practices with a minimum of 5 years experience. Company is looking for someone that they can groom for future position. A/P involves 1600 ? 2500 transactions per month which requires a costing type experience. Position requires an applicant with a very solid understanding of all of the general ledger and financial reporting basics but more importantly would need to be familiar with bulky systems like Timberline, Spectrum and to some extent American Contractor, and the assistance in the reconciliation of the monthly accounts.
